U13s play Geevagh/St Michaels on Tuesday at 6pm in Geevagh

On Sunday last our Intermediate team played St Michaels in the Abbott Cup Final in Markievicz Park. It was St Michaels who started the brightest and both teams exchanged scores until St Michaels raised the green flag on 14 minutes. A goal from Cian Brett in added time kept us in contention and we went in at the break 2-6 to 1-6 down. Oisin McDonnell's goal 4 minutes after the restart saw us regain the lead and the two points that St Michaels scored in response would go on to be their last of the game. The last 20 minutes of the game was a fine scoring spell for Bunninadden as we scored  1-10 without reply to win the games 3-17 to 2-8. This is the second year in a row the club has won the competition and Michael Gormley captain of the team collected the trophy on behalf of the team.

The Intermediates have a must win game in the Championship on Sunday against St Johns at 12 noon in Collooney so all support will be appreciated. Tickets can be bought online at sligogaa.ie or you can contact any committee member and we will organise one for you.

Congrats to both U13 teams who won their finals last week. It's great to see both teams doing so well and we wish them well in the upcoming championship.

Well done to our u17s who recorded a win against our neighbours Eastern Harps last week.
