Our Intermediate team had a 3-10 to 0-7 win over Castleconnor on Sunday last in our last round of the group stages. Needing a win to progress the team couldn't have asked for a better start when Matthew Clavin opened the account with 1-1 within the first six minutes. Another goal from Oisin Gorman saw us maintain a 2-1 to no score lead at the water break. O'Dowd, Cafferky and Colm Doddy got in on the scoring too and our opponents took until 23 minutes to register their first of the day. It meant we went in 2-5 to 0-2 up at the break. Castleconnor started the second half better than the first but again Clavin raised a green flag to cancel out any comeback. Our defence coped well with the long range attacks and it was important they did given that score difference may have come into it depending on results elsewhere. Further points from Cafferky, Brett and Clavin saw us run out comfortable winners and book a place against St Molaise Gaels in the Semi Final in two weeks time.

Our U15's play Easkey/St.Farnan's on Thursday at 6pm in Bunninadden.

The U17's play St John's on Friday at 6pm in Ballymote. Their game against Tourlestrane was rescheduled to 7th October due to a bereavement. They recorded a 4-10 to 1-8 win over St Molaise Gaels last week and currently lie in second place in the league table.
