U-17

Well done to the Enniscrone-Kilglass/St Patrick’s U-17s on qualifying for the ‘A’ Shield final following a 5-11 to 2-6 win over Owenmore Gaels last week.

They’ll play Curry in the final on Saturday next in Collooney at 12.30pm.

U-15

Our U-15s banished the disappointment of a number of narrow misses in recent years as they clinched the ‘A’ Championship Shield title with a narrow 4-8 to 3-8 win over St Molaise Gaels in a thrilling final played on Sunday last.

In dreadful conditions, the lads displayed tremendous battling skills to keep their noses in front after a first-half goal sent them in ahead at the break. This success is just rewards for the team and management given all their hard work, having missed out in the Feile county final in the summer. Thank you to Sheridans in Kilglass for accommodating the team after the game for refreshments.

The lads have a quick turnaround as they play St John’s in the ‘A’ League shield semi-final on Tuesday evening, October 5th, with throw-in at 5.45pm in Stenson Park.

U-11/U-9

Our U-11s and U-9s both finished up their season over the weekend with training and some refreshments afterwards. Thanks to Joe Queenan and Eddie Forde for their sponsorship. Well done to both squads on a great years work.

Congratulations

Well done to team captain Robert Jacob and the Enniscrone Golf Club Fourball team on winning the All-Ireland title over the weekend. The panel of players featured a number of former Enniscrone/Kilglass footballers.
