Congrats to our Ballymote/Bunninadden u17 team who won the B championship against Castleconnor on Sunday on a scoreline of 3-19 to 2-4. These two teams have had many tight battles all year with Castleconnor winning the League final after extra time. This is the first minor success for our club since 2008 and although it is an amalgamated team the pride and delight was every bit the same. Our u20 team play St Mary’s in Kent Park on Sunday at 2pm. 

The club extends its sympathy to the family of Gerry Scanlon Ballybrennan, Ballymote on his sudden passing last week. Gerry was a regular at underage games down through the years and his son Mark is part of the u17 team. May he rest in peace.
