Fixtures/Results:

Our junior footballers lost out to Geevagh in a very entertaining encounter in the opening round of the league on Friday evening on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-16. Geevagh held a 3 point lead at the break but a goal from Rossa Sloyan early in the 2nd half brought Easkey back into the game. Geevagh stretched their lead back out to 3 points again and had the chance to increase the lead only for Niall Cawley in the Easkey goal to save a penalty. A Matthew Mortimor goal set up a tense finish but Geevagh increased their lead to 2 points going into the dying stages but Easkey had the chance to win the game but the Geevagh goalkeeper pulled off a great save from a Matthew Mortimor effort and Geevagh managed to hold out for the win.
