Team News:
The Intermediate team suffered a bad defeat at home to Curry on Saturday evening last. Despite having a numerical advantage for all the second half, the team failed to make it count and were beaten by a worthier Curry side. Fill time score 0-4 to 1-11.
The Junior Team take to the field this coming Tuesday evening away to St. Patrick’s in the rescheduled game in round 4 of the league. Thrown-in at Skreen is 8.00pm.
Our U15 Team play Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in the B Football League Cup Final in the Sligo GAA Centre of Excellance, on Thursday evening, at 7.30pm.
Our U13 Team are in action on Monday evening away in Geevagh when the take on Geevagh/St. Michael’s in the B Football League semi-final. Thrown-in is at 6.30pm.
The club encourages suport at the games, for these underage teams as they strive for some glory in their respective leagues.
Congratulations to the boys of Kilglass N.S. who won their final against Calry N.S. in Cumann na Mbunscoil, 5/6/7 Teacher Boys Competition. Game took place in Markievicz Park on Saturday last.
Well done to the Enniscrone Kilglass Community Games U10 Team who had a successful result against St. Patrick’s on Friday evening.
Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Sean Quinn and Niall Tuffy, both of whom suffered injuries at the weekend at their respective games.
Best of luck to the Sligo Senior Team who play Cavan next Sunday in the Tailteann Cup semi-final in Croke Parke.
The Club membership extendes condolences to the family and friends of the late Anne O’Neill who passed away during the week. Sympathy in particular to her daughter, Moya and son, Josh, her father, Peader and her sisters and brothers. Anne was a loyal supporter of the club, both at the sideline and in the clubhouse. May she rest in peace.
