Saturday's Connacht Club Intermediate Championship Quarter Final result brings an end to what was a very successful season for the club. Although our Senior Men didn't progress in Connacht, the goal at the beginning of the year was to secure senior championship football next year, and that has been accomplished. Congratulations to Dunmore MacHales GAA on their win and best of luck in the semi-finals. Final score: Dunmore MacHales 1-10, Molaise Gaels 0-08. Thank you to everyone for your support during the year, and we look forward to your continued support in 2023 as a Senior Championship club.

Despite a polished and passionate performance, our Coaching Officer, Ed Mullane, just fell short of All-Ireland glory in the Aithriseoireachta/Recitation category at the All-Ireland GAA Scór Championship Finals in Castlebar on Saturday. Ed's recitation was an original piece, written by himself with assistance from our Cultural Officer, Seamus Connolly. Well done Ed, it's still some achievement to be a Connacht Scór Champion. Congratulations to the category winner, Dónal Ó Muireagáin, from Carrickcruppen GAA.

Congratulations and well done to our Sligo GAA U20 players Michael Langan, Jack Davitt, Joe Keaney, Luke Casserly, John Kerins, and Marc Heraghty who were presented with their Connacht GAA U20 Championship medals at the Clayton Hotel Sligo on Friday night.

Congratulations to Catherine Gallagher who received a special award at the All Ireland Finals of Scór Sinsear on Saturday in recognition of her contribution to Scór over the years. Well done Catherine, and well deserved.
