Team news:
Training is ongoing at present for the
Intermediate team with great hopes for the coming season.
Training will resume shortly for all underage
teams. Management teams are being put in
place at present.
All coaches and anyone involved with underage in
the club must have their Child safeguarding course completed and up to date.
This must be done every three years.
Garda vetting must also be done every three
years. Anyone who needs to update either please contact Children’s
Officer, Martin McHale.
Well done to Ethan Carden, who started in goals
for the Sligo U20 team in their win against Donegal on Saturday, in round 2 of
the Leo Murphy Cup Development League.
Congratulations to former club player, Donal
Kavanagh and his partner Grainne, who were married recently. Wishing the happy
couple all the best for the future. A
great day for our club Vice-President, PJ and his wife Margaret no doubt.
Well done to clubman, Mattie Coleman, who along
with his daughter Aine, completed the Dubai Marathon last weekend in heat we
could only dream about for this time of year. A great achievement by both of them.
