Congratulations to Sligo GAA PRO and Club Member, Padraig McKeon who won the GAA Writers, PRO of the year award last weekend. It is a well-deserved honour for Padraig who continues to raise the bar for this position not only at county level but also at club level.
Well done to Sligo on a important win in London and also Sligo LGFA who recorded their first win over Longford.
It was a great weekend for Summerhill College who have made the Hogan Cup final for the first time since 1985 - congratulations to all involved and best of luck in the final. Hard luck to St Attractas on a heart-breaking loss to penalties.
Scór na nÓg takes place on Sunday 2nd April. There will be competitions in Solo Singing, Recitation/Storytelling, Set Dancing, figure Dancing, Ballad Group, Music Group, Novelty Act and Quiz. Anyone interested in taking part should contact Catherine Tuohy on 086 320 8895. 
Registration is now open for 2023 and members should register through www.foireann.ie. It is important that all players are registered as soon as possible in order to be eligible and insured to play in the new season.
The annual National Club Draw for a first prize of a car are in circulation. This is an important fundraiser for the club and 100% of the proceeds are retained by the club and invested in coaching and development of our teams. Tickets for €10 can be purchased through foireann when you register or tickets available from any Executive member.
We continue to recruit coaches for the coming year and appeal to any parents interested in getting involved at any level to contact us. Full training will be given and it always good to get new people involved - please contact Michelle McMorrow on 087 6157455.

For all those in the membership draw, note that we have changed our bank account due to the closure of Ulster Bank and members should amend their standing orders as soon as possible.
