Thank you to all club coaches who attended last Saturday's 'Throw-in' coaches morning at Rathcormac NS. Your time, enthusiasm and contributions were greatly appreciated. A reminder that for any new/existing coaches, who have yet to complete the mandatory child safeguarding course, that the club is holding one in Oxfield on Monday, March 20th, from 7-10pm. Places are limited so please register online asap using the link recently distributed to coaches. Or -.contact Rowan O'Callaghan, Club Coaching Officer, for more info. ALL coaches must be garda-vetted via the GAA system (Foireann) and have completed the child safeguarding course within the last three years before they can begin coaching a team/group this season.

Saturday morning All-Stars coaching for girls and boys returns to Rathcormac NS playing fields for a new season on Saturday, March 25th. There will be three session times;
  • 09:30am to 10:30am: Hurling (Ages 7+)
  • 09:45am to 10:30am: Football (Players born 2016-2018)
  • 10:45am  to 11:45am: Football (Players born 2012-2015).

Here's a date for your phone. The Kellogg's GAA CĂșl Camp for 2023 will take place at Oxfield from July 3rd - 7th.. The GAA will open online registration shortly. We'll keep you posted.
Club membership is still open for 2023.See drp.gaa.ie/membership for more info. Please ensure your child is registered for the year ahead before they begin the new training season.
Summerhill's All-Ireland Hogan Cup final at Croke Park on St Patrick's Day will have a 1pm throw-in.
Our Celtic Challenge under-17 All-Ireland winning hurlers from 2022 were presented with their winners medals at a special ceremony at the Clayton Hotel last Friday night. It was a memorable occasion for club players Diarmaid Dunleavy, Conor White, Daniel Tiernan, Joseph McCaughey, Matthew Percy, Shane Mcdonagh, Donnchadh O'Brien and Michael Carroll who were part of the victorious Sligo team last summer. Our club hurling coach Declan O'Brien was also part of the Sligo U17 management team.
The DRP club meeting for March takes place this Wednesday night, March 8th, in Oxfield (Benbulben Room) at 9pm.
