Scór Sinsear winners  as follows who will go to represent Sligo in Connacht finals in Carrick on Shannon on 6^th April-;

·         Naomh Molaise -Grúpa Bailead ( Ballad Group )

·         Gene Sheerin -   Naomh Molaise -Aitriseoireacht ( Recitation)

·         Naomh Fearnain – Ceol Úirlise ( Instrumental Group.

·         Naomh Mhuire – Trath na gCeist ( Quiz).

On behalf of the committee I would like to thank the 4 Clubs above for their participation in many of the events . Also to Cloonacool Club for their commitment in sending in 3 young representatives who were placed 2^nd in  Quiz competition. We had a great night of music ,song ,recitation , quiz & rounded off later with a great music Seisiún in St Mary’s Clubhouse.

However despite the success, it is very disappointing to see such a lack of support from Clubs & Officials . A subject for discussion at another time if Sligo County Board wishes to continue to promote this objective of the GAA !?.
