Drumcliffe/Rosses Point Club notes Monday 19th February
This Saturday, Feb 24th, all our club coaches, from Saturday morning All-Stars to senior teams are invited to our Coaches 'Throw-in' morning, which will take place at Oxfield from 9:30am to 12pm. We encourage all club coaches to make every effort to attend as the session will be very beneficial for coaches planning and activity for the season ahead.  Please note the venue for this Saturday's coaches session, starting at 9:30am - it's Oxfield (not Rathcormac) .
We are looking for additional coaching help in hurling on Saturday mornings this year -as we want to give your younger players more opportunities to develop their hurling skills. If you would like to be part of this, please contact Austin on 0876855621.
A warm welcome to our new Club Development Officer, Michael Langan, who will be working with DRP on a number of local schools and club coaching activities during the 2024 season. Michael is a club member of our neighbours St Molaise Gaels. We will be 'sharing' him with Calry/St Joseph's this year. Welcome aboard Michael.
Well done to Eoghan Smith and Cian Lally who both started for Sligo in last Sunday's Division 3 league win over Limerick in Rathkeale. Sligo host Antrim this Sunday in Markievicz Park at 2pm.
Hard luck to Rianne Smith, Sinead Regan, Isabella Henry and the Sligo LGFA footballers who lost out to Roscommon in Keash on Sunday.
